Day 5: Texas to New Mexico

On the road again...

Well we left my grandparent's house this morning with a bag of yummy breakfast burritos and lots of memories to take on the trip with us.

The drive was an interesting one because we got to go through little ghost towns in western Texas and New Mexico. Seeing the terrain change was also pretty cool. But after a few hours of seeing stretches of flat land it can get pretty dull. Not to mention that only one or two radio stations are available when you are driving in the middle of nowhere. (iPods come in handy at this point!)

Pottsey and I made a pit stop at a Sonic because it could be our last milkshake from there for a while. I heard the closest one to L.A. is in Anaheim...

Also, did I mention, they like their windmills in west Texas? Yeah, they LOVE them!

Last but not least...Apparently Billy the Kid's gravesite is in Fort Summer, New Mexico. The museum was closed but we did snap a quick picture. Oh the gems you find on road trips.

xoxo,
