Easter!!

Happy Easter to all! I'm so happy to be able to spend the holidays with some of my family and friends. As you can see from the photos below there are smiles all around and the mess of confetti is from cascarones. Cascarones are confetti filled egg shells that you crack on people's heads in celebration of Easter. It's a hispanic tradition that my family does each year. =)

See the link below to find out how to make your own. I disagree with the step about cracking it with the paper tissue side though. I recommend cracking the egg on it's side.
